Imagine 48L of all natural sparkling hard cider, sweetened and carbonated to your exact specifications! Our ciders are made with a premium apple juice base, and the purest of fruit extracts from industry-leading Vinoka.
After the apple juice ferments, we add the fruit extract of your choice. There are many flavours to choose from, and all of them are made from pure fruit extracts, with no sweetener (artificial or otherwise). At this point you have a beverage sitting at roughly 4.5% abv, but which is actually rather bland. Fermentation has eaten all of the sugars from the original apple juice base, and since there are no sugars in any of the Vinoka extracts, they are really rather tart... putting both of these together does not yet a YUMMY cider make. What you need now is a little bit o' sugar and a little bit o' fizz!
This is the best part about making cider at Caribou Brewmasters, we will customize the sweetness and carbonation levels to your heart's desire! Do you really like Peach Cider, but find that that most commercial brands taste a little fake, and are just too sweet? Well, try our Peach Cider and ask for it medium-dry. We will add just enough sugar to wake up the peach extract, so you get the flavour of the real raw fruit, and none of the overkill. Same goes for any of the other flavours: pear, apple, blackberry, raspberry, strawberry, wildberry, nectarine. Want it sweeter? Sure! No problem, it's up to you.
The result is an all natural sparkling cider, with no chemicals or fake ingredients, EXACTLY how much sugar you want in it, and exactly the right amount of bubbles. They are delicious and dangerous on a hot summer day... or any day, really - we're not here to judge!
A batch of cider will yield a finished product of 48L. If you have 500ml plastic bottles that means four boxes of 24, and usually a few extra - so think in the ballpark of 100 bottles. If you were to bottle your cider in glass bottles (i.e. standard issue 340-350ml bottles) you would end up with 12 cases, or 144 bottles plus the bonus round. It sounds like a lot, but once you taste them and your friends start coming around, just watch how fast they go.
Each 48L batch is flavoured with TWO bottles of Vinoka fruit extracts, this means you can have a straight-up cider in the fruit-flavour of your choice (like ALL Pear, or ALL Cranberry), OR you can make a choose-your-own-adventure blended cider, like Raspberry-Peach, or Pomegranate-Wildberry... it's whatever you want, the world is your oyster!
